I Read the News Today, Oh Boy

About a lucky girl who hardly made the grade
( but got included anyway - that's luck, my friends.. )

The funny thing is, my nursery gets so many hits per day on flickr, fave'd daily, yet ( IMO ), it was a good idea badly executed due to material restraints, and the fact I am a tightarse and basically just readjusted the boy's old room.
I really would have tried harder if I knew people would start contacting me about it.
It's been published thrice now. Bizarre.

And the other two nurseries featured in the story put mine to shame.
I am the poor cousin lacking both style and grace. Ack.

Still doesn't stop me being thrilled but.
( as usual, click-ee the pic if you wish to enlarge )

    Wow - Congratulations.

How cool to be featured in there!

I love the nursery and if I EVER get around to decorating my poor son's room I would love it to look half as good!

Oh - and thanks for including me in your blogroll! I feel loved!! :D

Published! You are published now! Well done. I can see this sprouting (tree pun intended) into some sort of paid employment in the future maybe? You very much prove the saying "... do what you love and you will be sucessful..."

And great pic of you and bubs as well :-)

    Of course you're worthy!!

The reed wording and paperstock tree are fabulous and will no doubt be popping up in nurseries across Melbourne.

Glad it finally made the paper, and especially glad they included the gorgeous portrait of you and Arden.

    Congratulations.
Is there any other parts of the house we should be seeing/admiring? I remember loving your entrance way.

The room looks really lovely and you are very clever for creating it.
I didn't realise you made the baby thing (I mean on the wall - not the real baby) yourself.
    I'm seriously impressed!

Oh yippy - it finally went in! It looks fab but YOU look really gorgeous as does your boy. What's with the woman on the front cover - she has very small head! My mum always saves these for me - can't wait to tell her I know you!

i think that's why your room works so well, you didn't TRY too hard, it's precious and personal - and that's exactly where home mags need to go (IMO). Your hair looks great in the photo shoot too!!

I'm with Claire! Your nursery is so warm and personal. It's because it's not perfect it's perfect! It looks lived in... not "designer-y".

It just makes me laugh when I think of a journalist and photographer visiting your house! Ha! (See there I go...)
