    The Best Juice

Recently I have been on a quest to find good juice, from the supermarket.
Stuff that tastes like I squeezed it myself.

Surely, I thought, I cannot be the only person in Australia who wishes their juice had EXTRA pulp ( or ANY pulp ) ?
Where goes the pulp from all those 'pulp-free' varieties that everyone else must love ?
    Why can't I have it ?

I love my juice so pulpy a spoon could stand up in it.
It happened once - a freak bottle, obviously a mistake.
    I was in lurve.

    Meet Grove Fruit Juice
    ( it's Australian Made & Owned too, Fairlie ! )

Queenslanders would probably already know it, but i'm pretty sure it's new here in Vic.
They promise it's the best juice you've ever tasted or your money back.

It's rare a product actually delivers, but yeah, it's that good.

    Get onto it.

Oh yay! No sneaky imported Californian oranges? I'll definitely be checking this one out - although my oldest daughter detests even the idea of pulp, so I can see we'll have to have two bottles on the go at once.

'Squeezed daily from at least 20 Australian Oranges'

I'm on about my 6th glass of the morning ... yum ...

I just got back from Queensland and bought that exact brand of juice while I was there. I agree, it was YUMMY!

Why didn't you ask me, o Fellow Pulp Lover?? I would have put you onto that brand months ago! How much pulpless juice have you had to endure in your search?
The other good one is Black Label.

FIL knows the owner, it's good gear isn't it?!!!

Laughing at you up to glass #6 by 11am, be careful you might turn orange yourself. As an aside, have you ever heard of people eating too many carrots and their skin turning orange?

You've opened a can of worms here, my friend.
I too love a good pulpy glass of the orange stuff. Australian Fresh is my juice of choice currently, but I'll give yours a go.
Is it from the Fresh Food People or the flogged by Lisa McCune people?

Gag. And I'm afraid I've passed my horror of it onto my kids. Pulp-free all the way, baby.

Yeah - well, all you pulp-free freaks have plenty of sugery cordial types to choose from.

Spare a thought for those of us who are Quality Fine Juice Connoisseurs !!

Yeah, its not bad that juice. It's not pulp that annoys me with bought juices it is the sourness of some brands.

Sounds yummy but my kids won't touch it if it has 'bits' in it!

Going to have to try this one out!

I've been on the lookout too, after a spectacular organic orange juice we bought on holidays made me think that the daily was no longer cutting it....

Unfortunately not available at our local supermarket (and I'm not going all over town for this and that) I like a bit of pulp too!! And no reconstituted juice, blech.

We drink Curlwaa Orange Juice. I am not sure if is stocked in supermarkets as we get it delviered through Aussie Farmes Direct, but it is 100% Australian. Made in Curlwaa (just across the river in NSW from Mildura) and has plenty of bits.

1- California oranges are inferior to Florida. (This isn't chauvinism, their lemons are better than ours.)

2- The trick to store-bought juice is to a) find one that isn't pasteurized (or at least pasteurized low-and-slow) and b) not from concentrate.

3- Australian oranges will taste better than anything lese in Australia because they are fresher. Anyone else's oranges will have had to schlep across vast distances.

Me I squeeze my own citrus, and I'd cheerfully send you all my pulp if I could get it through customs.

P.S. Carrot overload WILL turn you orange. AMHIK.

Too many glasses of orange might give littlest man too many filled nappies! Be careful, if you are still breast feeding.
    Love real pulpy juice.

Oh, I'm definitely a pulp girl. ;) We used to have four citrus trees and would juice our own and have it for half a year!

PS I hope you are OK after all those storms!

Ironically Rob was talking about getting a juicer today. All the best vitamins are in the pulp! I like mine almost chewy. That's a lot of pulp. You look great in that last post. And no I'm definitely not down to pre-baby size and yes, I'm still squeezing in to ill-fitting clothes. I think I shall follow your example and purchase clothes that fit. *sigh*

Another pulp lover here. Though I very rarely have any juice at all these days.
