    Hop ! Scotch ! Action !

Been meaning to make a grid for the boy for ages - he just adores Hopscotch.

Where I grew up, we didn't have that semi-circle at the end of the grid. I guess we were too poor.
So no hi-falutin' pretentions for my boy either.
Don't want him risin' above his station and all that...

That's my crap kitchen in the background.
    Please don't look too hard.

Had a builder come out yesterday. There's a few issues, and it seems to do a new kitchen where the older boy's room is now affects a few other things, and so we might as well do everything else that needs to be done.

Which would mean $100k, moving out, renting elsewhere, and everything else.
So it looks like i'll be calling a guy about fixing the oven.

    No push-kitchen then.

    Damn.

Standing on one leg is quite tricky. He's doing it with ease!

Sorry to hear the bad news about the kitchen reno.

    hop scotch! What memories...

When I was a kid, I wished that was an Olympic sport along with Dodgeball.

MC has a charmed life! A Mum that provides Hop Scotch!

Shame about the kitchen! Push kitchen seemed much more like it, than the pram!

I recognise that pushchair you had in your previous post. We had the singleton version for the FB when he was a baby until he was just a bit short of 2 years. Word of advice - when you're doing your grocery shopping don't put all your purchases in the basket at the bottom, it can't carry too much weight.

Grumbles loves it too. Hopscotch, that is, not the kitchen.

    Great action shots!

    You must have good reflexes.

Our hopscotch grid was a scratched line in the dirt. What was yours? Aren't you meant to do it with chalk anyway? I've never heard it called a grid before? Can you buy hopscotch grids? I'm confused?

Yours is very nice BTW, is it stuck down with blue tack?

crafty, I stick EVERYTHING down with blu-tac.

What do you think is holding the kitchen together ?

Yes ours was definitely chalk on the pavement - with a semi circle.

Very shitty about the kitchen on your behalf - I hate it when one problem leads to another - which is why although our kitchen is now great the rest of the house is

    not.

Those floors are so beautiful, I'm sure he'd rather hopscotch there rather than outside with chalk!

It's amazing what you can achieve with Blu-tack!

Hopscotch was painted onto the bitumen in my primary school playground. It didn't have a semi-circle either. No pretentions in my primary education.
