    3D pics are Creepy...

Got my blood results back from the Drs this morning - no evidence of the baby-eating virus.

Also had my mid-way scan today, and the Sonographer said this pic/this baby was 'cute'.

I reckon it looks like a Simpsons Character with it's bulbous eyes and massive upper lip. Hideous.

Just glad the scan is in B&W, and not those yellow-hued ones you get... brrr....

All ok, very active just like MC - I suspect it's another boy.
The sonographer knew, but we asked not to be told. Usually when they know it's because they 'saw something extra', although with the super-technology these days, everyone says this is not the case, they can accurately pinpoint either way.

They're good though, as I can't even pick out things like 'elbows'.

MC thought the heart was a 'bum'.

I guess anatomy isn't our collective stong suit....

I could never ever see what I was meant to be seeing. Ever.

But I am very glad that things are OK .

I can't work out which bit is which ever either...

Good to hear all is going well.

Congrats on not having a baby-eating virus!! Scary stuff.

I'm with you on these 3D scans..very creepy indeed (LOL @ Simpsons character).

Don't jump to thinking it's a male - they can see straight away whether there is a dangly bit or a folded bit (for want of a better description). I hate waiting...I wish I knew what it is. Maybe I can just guess along the way if you post any further scans?

I wish you hadn't said the Simpsons thing. You know, those new fangled scans do look a bit freakish.

Glad your blood tests were good.

I hate a secret too. I think if you can find out, you should and tell me.
I think 3-D scans are amazing! There is almost no chance for privacy, even in utero. (is that latin correct?)

Glad to hear there's no evidence of baby eating virus. Yay, indeed!

Oh, it's definitely a girl. Or maybe a boy. Oh, who am I kidding!! I can't even tell if it's upside down or horizontal or vertical. I'd say it was very cute but I think I'm actually looking at its bum.

Am very much looking forward to seeing the little bub

We only ever had the boring old 2D scans, but they were still lovely. Except when they told us both times I was having the world's hugest babies - well, thank you so much for that, Mr Sonographer.

Wonderful news about your blood tests though!

I still treasure my 2-D ultrasound photo which shows Climber sucking his little thumb.

The ultrasounds freak me out to. I couldn't even tell arms from legs with my three. Congratulations though - there is potential cuteness there :)

Good news on the test front, must be a relief all round.
I'm going to have to trust you on the fact that that's a bebe ;)
You must have a very strong will - no way I could not know - but then I hate surprises.

In my day, we never had ultrasounds.. haha.
So glad to hear all is well, & I am sure MC wont mind what his sibling is- sexwise!

They should have beauty contests for the not-yet-borns. Everyone could submit their pics and the least creepy/disturbing picture wins.

I can't make head or tail of that.

But I can't with the other kind either. I've always smiled politely with ultrasound pics and said "uh huh, nice" when people show them to me.

Sorry, but I am sure your baby will be adorable, I just can't see it yet!!

Looks like a cute little Aussie to me! ;) I am not good at picking out body parts in those sonograms, either.

I'm looking forward to doing 3D this time. But I'm with you...kind of a weird feeling in a way. The more we can do, the more scary it seems to become. Congratulations on all being well!

Oh, I'm so happy for you! The picture was pretty amazing -- it never fails to blow my mind. Technology, eh? I have a family member who just found out she is expecting, and I couldn't be more excited. I'm trying to keep quiet about it til she's a bit farther along, but in the meantime, am busily knitting a baby trousseau. (sp?)

ooooh way freaky! good to hear he/she is a looker - god knows nobody wants an ugly baby...

    Hope your porking up nicely!

Wow cool that you got a 3D ultrasound. Our clinic doesn't have them.

It looks like you're having a baby to me! (Boy or girl...I bet it's one of those!)

Thanks for stopping by my blog!
