    Oh, and

The latest offerings from the resident modern artiste

He's discovered how to open up 'paint' from the computer menu.

then selects either pen or pencil to create the scribble 'template', and then clicks again to select the 'fill' symbol to 'colour in'

I'm so impressed i've been saving them as jpegs.
I know, my bias is showing.

I let it hang out with pride.

Is keeping these as JPEGs the modern way of sticking fingerpaintings on the fridge?

    DMM - lo, yes probably.

I've been known to snap a pic of artwork on the camera too, and print them out for the photo album ;)

    V. cute. I still marvel at computer savvy kids, even though what did I expect when I spend so much of my own time on the bloody thing. But I do think kids who can do all that are clever. You should print them out and hang them on the firdge.

Cool. They have no fear these modern kids, the computer just being one more fascinating thing to poke and probe. I'd probaly save one as my desk top...

Great works of art. They´d look great printed out photo size and framed. Your creative influence is shining through.

You really should buy one of those huge frames from a hobby store and print those out. We get poster sized prints for a fairly reasonable price at the big Walmart here.

We have framed 'kid art' since they could smear someting on paper. These are hung along side some signed and #d prints we paid $$$$ for!

That is BRILLIANT. You so should save heaps and heaps of them. Imagine what he'll be drawing on the computer when he's five!!

Some kind person suggested to me that these sort of paintings (my son loves doing them too) would be great printed on T shirts, on mugs for Nannas or printed out, laminated and stuck on their bedroom walls.
All great ideas, but I haven't got off my arse to do any of them so can't recommend them personally.
Perhaps you could do it and tell if me if is worthwhile...

Oops, just realised I left a comment on the wrong post! Here it is again - I love to paint on this website http://www.jacksonpollock.org/ Just move the mouse and then click to change colours. It's loads of fun!

    Do this:

Get a smallish ream of VERY nice paper (100% rag, heavy stock) and print them out. Then frame them in a very nice frame. Given them perfectly ridiculous titles ("Aardvark breastfeeding its young") and hang them about the house and pretend you paid a king's ransom for it. (Which, when you consider the costs of childrearing, is just about right.)

Marvel as any pretentious friends start analyzing them for hidden meanings.

Wow. A doctor AND an artist in one. You've got a child prodigy on your hands.

(Those pictures are great, by the way. Beautiful colours)
