    From Little Things..

    .. big things grow.

The rain today is rainforest refreshing.

After a day of constant, nourishing sprinkling, delightful dripping, I can start to smell renewal.

    And we're lovin' it.

Oh wow! How wonderful. Your Little Man looks like he is strung up on wires and performing! Great photos, he looks soooo deliriously happy.

Beautiful pictures. Your little boy is so lovely. Have those red shorts got anti-gravity super powers?

I'm loving this rain too. It makes a good noise on my roof.

Also love that song. (From Little Things, Big Things Grow)
Makes me kind of swell up emotionally and then cry.

Thanks Melody - I took some more where he's jumping even higher, and you'd think he had a trampoline under him ( he lurves to jump ! ;)

Stomper - don't make me cry too !!
Yes, beautiful song. And the Warwick Cappers are actually 'jocks', but I like them for home outer-wear on hot days.

And now I have to make dinner ...

Heh. Warwick Cappers. Lots of boys in their undies round our house too this week.

Your boy looks like he's doing a rain dance. With such joy, and who wouldn't be happy on such a delightful day! And your deck looks lovely too...

Waiting for the pizza and coke (for bourbons and coke, yum) to arrive...

So lovely, such delight! Thank you for sharing this moment with us. Our little one spent today walking around with his new umbrella and then refusing to put it down when we went into a cafe. He got lots of indulgent smiles on the pavement as most people could only see the umbrella and not the boy underneath!

Glad you're getting rain - we're due for it on Monday apparently...

Hey, I love these pics. I thought he was on a trampoline too at first. Funny. And....when I enlarge the image I get to see those big size 10 feet ;-)

I had fresh calamari & hot chips for dinner, scrumptious. But no "drinkies" here YET...c'mon pregnancy please be over soon. Tee hee.

I LOVE those pictures! He is simply adorable! I sometimes wish I could bottle that happiness and save it for a day when I'm feeling down! To be that joyful!

And as it's 10 o'clock in the morning here, I'm thinking of breakfast not dinner! :)

I hope that rain makes its way up here soon. I'm missing the smell of rain and we could definitely do with some freshness around the city here.

Rain, lovely cool rain, send it my way when you've done with it. I may well have to do a little rain dance myself.

Like you and Stomper I love that song. I bought a whole Paul Kelly Best Of cd mainly for it (but found how many more I also like).

Your little man looks as happy as a pig in mud! Great pictures. Glad you guys got some relief from all that heat. Looks like its come our way; 41/42 degrees today. I'm hoping my new plantings won't die :-(. There's apparently some rain coming but I hope it isn't all just a bunch of hot air!

Wow - you little guy looks like he is a ballet dancer in the making - how adorable (and isn't the rain wonderful? we're finally getting a good dousing here too).

Those are gorgeous photos! He is just a picture of jumpy happiness.

There could be floods and I would still love the rain. I can't get enough of it.

ha ha ! i work for a 'middle man' in the generic (ie: large chain store) fashion industry. everyday clothes(read:bland) for the everyday woman(read: old and out of shape). i'm a spec technician, so after the designer/product developer has come up with the idea for a range, i translate that into specification sheets so we can get samples and production made out of china.
i come from a design/art study background, but i've always made clothes ever since i was a wee lassy, so patternmaking/crafting is grown into me.
you're right, the melbourne community is lovely so far. very welcoming and friendly. can't wait to post a bit more, still saving up for a wi-fi router for the internets, though so i have to share puter time, so less blogging. ok this is long now. bye!!
