    Eurgghhh..

My sister and her husband came over yesterday and I got a little too much into the spirit of things.

Well, the 'champagne' of things, to be precise.

It was lovely out on the deck. We had chicken and salad and sushi with our bubbles.

    Most decadent.

They came over as we won't be seeing them tomorrow, and they had a present they wanted to give to the little guy ( a talking, sizzling BBQ, which he loves, as you can see .. )

Today i'm baking the Christmas ham.
I'm setting my goals low, so if anything else is achieved, well, that's great. I'm certainly not going to push the envelope though, i'm too tired and perhaps even still slightly drunk. Charming.

It's quite mild out today, but local HAIL is predicted for Christmas Day ( this crazy weather ! ), so I may have to rethink my al fresco dining plans. Oh well, good for the bushfires, I suppose !

Everyone have a great day tomorrow !

    xx

Oh dear. Watch that head of yours!! Take it easy.

I've seen those talking BBQ's - looks terrific and quite obviously your little man thinks so too!

Hail tomorrow? Wow. Melbourne sure does have crazy weather doesn't? As you said, good for all the bushfires. (My dad is a CFA memeber so he's been off fighting them!) At least here I will be having a hot Christmas... (ie. good drinking weather!)

    Hi Melody.
Yeah, the weather has been weird worldwide. All that snow in mild places in the US, and no snow where there should be snow ?

And yeah, we waver between 42degs and then hail. Go figure.

    Merry Christmas ! :)

At least you got your headache the fun way, not from a shopping mall or something! Your little boy looks sooo happy with his barbecue, what a cutie. He may grow up to be a celebrity chef.

Happy Christmas for tomorrow! Brrrr, I'm putting the electric blanket on tonight!

Merry Christmas, hope that hangover clears quickly - actually champagne isn't supposed to give you a hangover.

I saw the talking BBQ whilst out and about too, and thought it was pretty cool!

Merry Christmas to you and yours. Hopefully it doesn't hail too much - like you say, just enough to put out the fires.

Hail on Christmas? Hail Mary? I hope not.

Have fun with the talking BBQ -- maybe it will help you bake that ham.

    Merry Christmas!

a talking BBQ sounds fantastic. What does it say? Hope you are having a lovely Christmas and that the hail doesn't show so you can eat alfresco.

Hope your Xmas day went well, without the hail?

I was cringing here on Central Coast, expecting sizzling temps.

Actually it was quite mild & kind, & not too humid or hot!

Now, if only I hadnt got a chest infection.....

Can you believe it? Snow in Australia for Christmas. C-e-razy days!!

Your Christmas sounds wonderful. I don't think you can ever be "too much" in the spirit of things. Sometimes it's all that gets us through the day!!!
