    Mum's Here

And we've been doing .... not a lot really.

Bought a silly elf suit in a $2 shop for no reason but to exploit my child in silly photos. We're easily amused like that.

So we've been eating and drinking, and chatting and walking.
Sitting out on the deck, playing with the boy. Stuff.

Went to Freedom to look for an amazing cup & saucer I saw on Blossom's Special Orange, but it seems that style is so 'yesterday' now, and an ugly chunky faux pottery style has taken it's place. Blah.

Got my hair cut even shorter. Love it. I'll morph into Annie Lennox yet ! Have no idea why I didn't do this sooner... I guess with age comes the throwing off of the shackles of youthful insecurity ? Nahhh... ;)

I'm going Wed morning and frantically looking for a new do! Thought about short, but at this stage only prepared to go shorter. Had that lovely dinner date yet? Glad to hear your enjoying your mum.

PS. The wall looks great. What's on the menu for Wednesday afternoon. Tea and Scones!!!!

What a cute elf. He's looking very pleased with his reflection too.

That elf looks familiar: would he have been attached to christmas stocking full of chocolates about 30 years ago?

Because if he was, he's mine and he's my favourite and I want him back!!

    (Haircut pics?)

    Love the Elf suit!!!

Having had short hair most of my life I have grown it long recently as I felt it was the "last time in my life" I could get away with long hair - already looking forward to going really short again!!!!

Yes, Mr Elf does love his own reflection. Vanity, thy name is Master B !

The hair looks the same basically, just shorter, really .. no need for more pics of me - i'm over myself already ! :)

Tina - I can't imagine you cutting all your hair off, how much shorter ?

And yes Shelly - I can't see myself going back to long now. I guess this isn't too hard to believe considering I had the same 'do' for 20years preceding this one. That means i'll be ready for a change when i'm um ... 56 .. blue rinse perhaps ? Perm ?

How cute is that kid of yours?? If I put an elf suit on my son, he'd kick it and shred it within nano-seconds.

I'm with the others - where are the hair pics??

And I just KNOW your Mum will enjoy him too! Lucky grandma.

I was just having a giggle over your blackboard wall post, by the way I think it's very stylish, when along comes this adorable little elf to make me smile all over again. Exploit indeed.
When are you posting pics of new hair do - Annie Lennox - that sounds good.

That photo is the cutest! Why else do $2 shops exist?

When your hair reaches Annie Lennox length, we want to hear you sing, "Would I lie to you? Would I lie to you, honey?"

You've got to love cheap costumes don't you. We bought a cape for our boy, and he loves it! I always wanted to wear a cape...

I do the number 2 now I'm old. I used to have long flowing locks! LOL
