    "Hardest Job in 9yrs"

Ahhh .. they were sucked in by the lure of sandy soil .. they went home probably thinking they should have charged more ...

    "There big tree here ?"
"Why grow big tree here. You grow big tree here ?"

Apparently if it wasn't the massive tree roots, it was rocks.
    Oh well, not my problem.
My 'problem' was apparently to keep the coffees coming..

"Coffee, two please lady, milk, one sugar. Yassou"

I can do that. I'm not used to being tea-lady-on-command, but hey, a discussion on Women's Lib., and a lecture on bringing a thermos to work wasn't high on my agenda either.

    ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

    Puffy eyes today.

Had to take Ham to the Vet last night, and I get the feeling he's not coming back. This is the first move he hasn't embraced with a 'whatever' shrug, and rather than getting better, he's only getting worse. We took him to the Vets a few weeks ago, where he was rehydrated via a drip, and given a course of antibiotics for a 'stomach infection', but he hasn't improved.

Last night got back from my Mother's Group to find him with his tongue hanging out, and trying to vomit the exact *nothing* he had eaten that day. It was quite upsetting, and he looked terrified. Lucky Master B was taking a nap ( C. may have played a huge part in the high stress factor of this poor cat ), so I was able to attend to him in peace and quiet.

Last night he slept at the Vet's, where he was sedated and put on a drip.
They will check him out today, and let us know..

Fence is looking good. Its amazing just how much neater a garden looks with new fences. Once you get painting and planting again you won't know yourself. Sorry to hear Ham isn't doing to well. I'll just have a white tea thanks for asking!!!!! Have a nice day.

Fence looks great but the guys who did it! Well, the cheek of them! Urgh. It is fair enough if you offered, I mean, they were working for you - not the opposite way around...

    Hope Ham returns.

Poor Ham. I hope things turn out for the best (whatever that may be)

Yes, fences make a huge difference and are well worth the occasional bout of condescension and tea-making.

Ham (your cat of many years?) sounds like he is getting the best care and may just have reached the end of his travels. Do let us know, yes?
