    Silly

It seems crazy, but I was so excited when I found this 'letter of acceptance' in my letterbox today, I wanted to frock up and go out and drink champagne and celebrate !

    acceptance

No, it's not Harvard, exclusive, and nor did we have to pass rigorous testing or perform on demand. This is not Noo York.

It's just our local Primary School .. the one we were bowled over by .. with chickens, wetlands, a student-run radio station, an audio-visual dept to rival Disney, and all sorts of other awesomeness.

    We're in!
    I'm stoked!

Congratulations! It sounds like a fabulous school :)

I felt like you when our acceptance letter came a couple of months ago - we frocked up and went to Red Rooster (though I would have preferred champagne)

Don't worry - I still have Grumble's letter of acceptance for her three year old kinder program.

Even though it was only for 2.5 hours per week.

I may have even done a happy dance.

And drank some bubbly that night.

Yes, I am a sad, sad creature.

Congratulations - the whole kinder/school enrolment thing can be kinda stressful.
Do they take adult enrolments at that school??

I would have saved it for today's Herald Sun article really ....

    But exciting nonetheless.

Take it from me, keep a bottle on ice to drink straight from when you come home after dropping him off on his first day.

I believe they call it drowning your sorrows.

I was inexplicably proud too, although unlike Jorth, I didn't keep the bit of paper.
Your boy is going to love it. I'm sure he'll call it "nice".
