    New Bathroom

For those few who haven't seen it on flickr already.
And yes, there is no bath. We hate frikken baths here.

Of course, this meant the birthday baby received not one, but TWO sets of bath toys as birthday gifts. And no chance of hiding them away and repackaging for another lucky baby ( who does that ? me ? ) because when a 4yr old 'helps' unwrap, things are well and truly unwrapped.

    Behold:

    bathroom7

Yes, it IS awesome, and yes, we are WELL pleased. It is delicious.
Oh - and there is now a frameless glass partition/screen down the back for the shower spray - I suppose I should take an updated photo.

    More photies here

And so you should be pleased. It looks sensational. Can't wait to see it in the flesh (so to speak) with screen and all. Tina O'D

That's a very swish looking hotel. How do I book?

FABULOUS! Mmmm we have a long narrow space like that with a window like that and that design is a great solution for it.

That is just bloody beautiful... jealous!

    Ooooh swish :)

I'm also a fan of the rewrap, if I can save it from a 'well and truly' unwrapped!

Oooooh. Very nice. I like a nice bathroom. Have just moved from a resort-style ensuite to a tres-dodgey one...so I'm having withdrawals.

WOW!!! It looks just like I imagined it would but even more gorgeous. Are they Caroma liana basins?? How wide is the bench to fit the two? Love the shower head - very cool! Is that radiant heating? Love that too! Excellent all round - you must be so happy! We haven't had time to even think about ours and you have just given me all the inspiration I need!

Thanks everyone - Louise - I totally forgot about your bathroom project - please, come over and check it out, ask q's etc - maybe one night after work ?

Yes, Caroma Liano casins. Bench is 1800.
Heating is a NOBO - radiant ? Not sure.
Come over while it's still all fresh in my mind!

I love it! Probably helps that I have those same basins, and similar if not same taps in mine! And the shower head looks a little familiar too (isn't it blissful to shower under).
Can I do a bathroom makeover story, please, please, can I huh???

Fabulous. You have given me some inspiration! we were toying with a brown/cream colour scheme or a slate grey/white scheme ... I think you've tipped me over to brown/cream :)

Your photo does it serious justice!

    Karen - yes please ! :)

Victoria - we went a little 'all out' as it's our only bathroom ( no ensuite here! ), well, that's my excuse and i'm sticking to it!

SF - I must check out where you're up to. Funny about the slate grey - that's where we were originally at too :)

PP - you have the honour of being the first blogger to see it - thanks for making the trip 'specially ;)

    I would never ever leave..
    beautiful and serene
not sterile and cold at all

    I love it.

Ditto all above comments! I am seriously envious. I love love love the idea of the same tile on floor and one wall (beige/brown) and white on the other two. What is the other wall colour? And the indented nooks near the shower - a revelation. And the round mirrors - beautiful. I have to do our upstairs bathroom which I would love to look as good as this. My last bathroom was Mr J's ensuite affair and it is very plain so I will have to up the ante to achieve something like yours!
