    The Dark Cow...

I knew MC's kinder facepainting disturbed me in a way I couldn't define.
Time to change kinders ? Brrr....

    ------------------------------------

    Still packing, faffing.

Mobile blogging - hmm, not sure if the phone will work overseas ( and not cost me $60 a text ! ), so we'll see how it goes. There's a 'teen retreat' at the hotel, with free internet facilities, but if you're over 19 you have to use the 'business centre' and get charged $10 an hour. Sheesh.

I asked AB if I could pass for 19 and he laughed and laughed and kept right on laughing.

    We leave at sparrows tomorrow.
The house will be protected by attack-cat, and people coming over to watch Project Runway ( you don't mess with those sort of people, man ). The boys are well enough to travel, and all dramas have been dealt with and/or averted. Touch wood.

The only thing left is a loooong plane ride with lots of trips to the toilet and walks down the aisle and annoying the hosties.
Lucky AB is dealing with that child and I will deal with the bay-bee. We confirmed seats yesterday and it seems AB and I and the baby are in row 38 with a basinette and they've left MC in row 54. Err..

    blog on.

as long as the kindergarten doesn't teach how to use Amazonian blowguns, you'll be fine.

Have a great trip! Can't believe the airline left the 3 year old on his own. Although if he acts up on the plane you might welcome it.

I just did a post about traveling with a 3 year old! Monet did me proud - yours will too.

That photo thing is creepy. Really creepy. Did you *have* to post that likeness one? *shudder*

Good luck - enjoy yourselves and I look forward to reading about your travels.

Be sure to make the hosties earn their salary.

Have a good trip - where are you going?

Re plane seats - all you need to do is say to the people next to MC - "looks like you have to look after him we are way down the front!" - Guaranteed you will have passengers sorting out seats so that you will all be sitting together.

Last year flying back from Malaysia there were 4 families all separated - NO ONE wants to look after an unknown child on a plane!!

oh and the face painter at childcare needs some lessons!!!

Man that is freaky and really quite disturbing.

I wish you a lovely, lovely holiday and you could pass for an 18 year old way easier than I could!

    Happy holidaying!

Don't you just love airline seat bookings? Last time I travelled with my three boys we arrived to find they'd seated the youngest five rows away on his own. HELLO!?

Have you seen Heath Ledger's Joker from the new Batman movie? I'll leave it at that.

All the best for the flight. I'm not laughing, really ...

Enjoy...I'm sure you'll have some fabulous stories.

With the teenage internet facilities...just tell them MC insists on updating his blog and checking on his MySpace buddies ;-)
    You're just there to supervise!

    Have a great holiday!

I'd be leaving the facepaint on when you board the plane, that will get MC reallocated to a new seat! It may also get you all escorted off the plane...

    Where ya goin'?

I thought the dark cow was rather excellent actually, unless he puts that make-up on and stands by your bed while you're sleeping. If he's doing that, it's just not right. Perhaps it's just as well you're not sitting together on the plane xo Have a great trip!
