    The A - S of blogging..

That looks a bit like the word ASS, doesn't it ?

Like if i'd munged it to send to a friend's workplace with tough IT censors ?

Melbourne was recently graced with some visiting Sydney bloggers - some here for work, others here for the Gee-Gee Festivities.

It was a good excuse for a meal out and lots of chat ( after we eventually left the venue, we continued to chat it up out in the street until the outer lights went off. Then we chatted outside someone's house, until they turned ON their outside lights.
The message? : 'Go home, BloggerGirls' )

Thanks to Only Books.. for organising it, and lovely to meet some more lovely locals that I read all the time. I had a great night !

There's a pic of us all, but i'm not sure if anyone wants/needs their face photoshopped out ( for shame or privacy ), so perhaps you'll see it on one of the other blogs.

The pic I have included is of the lovely baby cap Craftymum knitted me as a 'thankyou' for fixing some broken bits on her blog.
    Isn't she lovely ?

Who would have thought that lady bloggers would have such a lot to say?

Was it a grumpy husband turning on the outside light?

I'm a bit jealous of missing out on the nice food now. like you, my favourite meals are the ones I don't cook.

That is one very cute baby hat.

Lights off, lights on...don't they realise it takes more than that to shut bloggers up?

What? You mean you kept talking -after- Stomper and I left?

I've often wondered if we'd have anything to say face to face. Like we'd all sit there looking at each other and thinking "who the hell are you and why do you think I'd tell you anything about myself?"

    Well, now I know...

As I just commented on Stomper's blog, I was sure I'd commented here, but obviously not, must have just composed it in my head (you know how that happens). Hope the husband wasn't too annoyed...

Sounds like you had a great time. Was it a bit scary though? What if you just didn't click, etc?
I'll be heading over to the other blogs to check out the pics.
