    Spring

    I love Spring in Melbourne.

In the backyard the other day, I took 60+ photos of grass, light, happiness.

I came inside feeling as euphoric as if i'd just won the lottery.

Spring Days do that to me.

I so *totally* get the frollicking of newborn lambs, with their happy wagging undocked tails of delight.

Before they get flystrike and dags and become so much less attractive.

I used to drive AB nuts in the 35mm days, when he'd pick up a freshly processed roll of pics of my potted herbs.

    P.S. - Short Update:
The heating/cooling is fixed, the bath is fading with various treatments ( CLR Clear unavailable in the 2x stores we tried, but is at the local Coles, when I can be bothered fighting the ridiculous lines at my local Coles .. )

I can imagine you frolicking lamblike in your white shirt and pants in your gorgeous garden. I have such garden envy I could spit. And have already given my husband such a hard time about ours since yesterday.

    beautiful photos.

This is a stupid question really but have you had lots of rain in Melbourne recently. And I know Melbourne's reputation for rain but last time I was there a few months ago it was all brown.

And your garden looks very - green.

I do the same thing. I have hundreds of macro shots of flowers at various stages - bud, open a bit, a bit more, fully open, losing petals..... on and on it goes.
    Thank goodness for digital cameras!
I love your blue pot shot.

    Lovely photos!
Spring is just the best, isn't it?
I took the boys for a long walk today and when I wasn't screeching "stop at the corner!!!" (they were on their bikes) I was enjoying the hint of warmth in the air and the lovely gardens.
Did you have your morning thing........ without me??

Ooh yes, nice garden, nice sunshine, I love those bewhiskered flowers, (are they miniature pansies?) wouldn't mind a pot of those myself.

However I was hoping for more detail about your bath.

    Violas!!

Before over-breeding myself out of any real garden time, I used to love planting violas in the spring.

Now I'll just love looking at yours!

Lovely blue-pot shot! Love this little violas. Love all the spring flowers, & the gorgeous greens, which seem almost obscenely lush!

    Lovely Photos...

I think Spring used to be my favourite season followed closely by Autumn. Up here though, no such thing. Wet and Dry. Dry is okay, though a little cool. Wet is hot but a little damp. Can't win. BUt today, oh today, is lovely. *ahhhh*

Sigh. You're in Spring as we're heading toward winter. I'd rather have your weather...although it was 84 degrees today.

    I'm with Heather, *sigh*.
It's pumpkins, fireside cocoa and the end of daylight savings for us. But one needs the fall to appreciate those frolikable springs. So I'll chose the gratitude attitude. Love the vantage point of your photos.

Huge congrats on the tub revival.
