We are a uni-cat family these days.
Bobby the fat 'stray that came to stay' has outlasted two competitors of our affections.
He has what we call 'spiders', the huge tarantulas that live on the end his front paws.
When he's really happy, he flexes them, they're huge.
I tried to capture them today, as he rested in a sunbeam, but I think you need to be able to appreciate them personally by having them sunk deep into your thigh.
They're pretty impressive.
If not ouchy.

Now when I saw your heading, I thought "hmmm, do I go in or not?" as I hate spiders and I particularly hate having no warning of them.
I did a quick scroll down and saw nothing to alarm me, and so I ventured in.
I'm glad I did. Your puss is lovely. I know what you mean about the ouchies, I have a cat that is determined he can change my shape by kneading long enough and when he is totally content, just flexes his paws, in, out, in, out. Of course, that means that I get the claws in, out, in, out.
What beautiful big paws he has - both my girlies have dainty paws but my thighs can attest, they can still deliver the ouchies :)
Nice puma.

Your cat is gorgeous.
He knows where his bread is buttered!
Urrrrrgh - cat tarantula claws!
Wish he hadn't been hiding the other day.
I know all about those kind of tarantula claws! It may just be the angle, but your Bobby looks very much like our two badly-behaveds.
He is very cute! And he has quite the paws!!
Ouch I can feel those scratches all the way up in Sydney!
