    pOOped

Bobcat guy starts plundering the front yard soon, so I had to get out anything I wanted to keep.

The lavender was *just on* bursting into a fragrant and gorgeous display, so I wanted to do it before it flowered and was laden with bees.

    Man, that dirt was hard.
Hope it recovers ok. It was looking a bit bruised and weepy this afternoon.

There's *nothing* left in the front yard now - except for debris, weeds, rocks and bricks, and a few shrubby trees that'll go.
    A clean slate, new beginnings.

And our new BIG water tank arrives tomorrow !

That lavender looks so lush, I hope it survives the move!

It's very exciting to start with a clean and empty yard. I did that a few years back, and it was wonderful!

My wife would slaughter nuns and orphans for that lavender.

They are predicting rain in the coming days, hopefully your water tank will be up and running in time to enjoy the welcome rain. Lavender looks great and is pretty hardy. How exciting, new front garden. Can't wait to see it.

There is nothing better than a clean slate!

Lavender is like a weed, it will survive any kind of maltreatment. I'm sure yours will be fine.

Hope you get the water tank up and running before the predicted rain is down and running!

Lovely lavender. I am sure it will survive. Shame about the old rose...

    Water tank is in !

Lavender is the English variety - my favourite, and yes, is looking much more robust this morning..

Meggie - no roses were harmed in the cull. They too were repotted and are lounging about in the backyard awaiting their next installment...

I'm oozing envy over your water tank. Sigh, one day.

The lavendar will survive I'm sure - it's as tough as old boots!

I love lavender. The area i live in is famous for its lavender. Alas not so much of it grows here any more as the smell is so beautiful
