Can you believe ......
this botanic setting is actually a friend's new front yard ?!?!?
Just awesome.
And a small mosaic -
1. handprints in the new concrete slab for the watertank
2. tapdog ( an interesting storage solution for bath toys )
3. "Exx"
My home was chalked up in "exxes" yesterday - they are everywhere, and when I asked what they meant I was told "they kept cats out of the home". Ok.
I wish that lump that rolls in dirt and then jumps onto my bed to clean itself would take notice...

Obviously your boy doesn't like cats.
And that garden?!!! WOW. Initally I thought, oh H&B must've gone to the Botanical Gardens *sigh* today, but alas, no, a friends yard??!!! AWESOME.
OMG !!!
THAT IS MY GARDEN !!!
I bought "Inside Out" when it was in JUST for THAT garden.
And I don't even have to double check and ask if that was the one because I memorised every small detail.
We are even going to paint our house in the same grey's and white's.
Now tell me. The backyard looks like a tip? Right?
WOW!!!! That garden is amazing!!
Melody - he loves cats. But he wants a 'new one' as ours doesn't quite share the love ...
V&R: OMG, quite possible - check your email - if it was in the mag I must get copies for my friend !
Ha I love those x's magical little x's keeping the cats away, very cool.
I have seen that garden some where before. I subscribe to "Inside Out" so that must have been it.
Very cool!
Don't you know? X marks the spot. Of course!
Hey, I want that garden please.
I love the idea of the handprints -how cute. I'm guessing they're not yours, though, they're the little mister's, right?
I'm glad I'm not the only one who gets home to find a little ring or fur, dirt and bits of garden in the bed, MY side of the bed.
And you know, a new kitty may distract from the shock of no longer being the one and only. It worked for my parents when they finally caved and got me a puppy, right about the time a bebe brother arrived ;)
No, I can't believe that is someone's front garden!
You do mean the cat when you say the lump don't you? and not your boy?
The handprints are gorgeous. I hope you dated them too. Your boy is a natural adorner.
That garden is divine.
I love the hand prints! I agree with Stomper, put the date on them!
Crafty, yes, the 'lump' is another name for our fat lump of a cat.
Stomper & Aunty - yes, named and dated :)
That's one nice garden!
How do kids work out that exx thing? Around that same age my son started saying "I exx it" about things that he didn't like.
EG Would you like an egg for dinner?
I exx it.
My witty retort is, of course, "I'll exx you!"
Even now we still exx each other!
Fuck!! That's put my garden to shame.
Wow! I love that yard! Swoon....
I'm off to check whether any exx-es have been chalked around our house...could perhaps explain the missing cat?? ;)
Amazing garden.
That front yard is somewhat amazing. And water friendly too!
Kittehs know the power of the eXXes!!
Perhaps Kitteh is directing eXXes?
It makes my head spin to see such botanical splendour. I may never venture into my front garden again.
Nope, can't be someone's actual garden. Nope, not possible. In denial. Not listening. Nope.
Really?
How. Amazing.
Oh, here's to moving to the burbs and to a block of land... yippee! xx
