    She's Making a List..

Well, actually, more like crossing things off that list.
Really need to push that dental visit in this month ... *sigh* ...

Finally got around to personalising the pillowslip required for Kinder next year ( MC has never really been a 'napper', but we'll see.. ). This is my first attempt at Freezer Paper Stenciling, and i'm quite pleased with the results:

( That's Wow! Wow! Wubbsy!, for those not in the know.. )
    MC is thrilled !

Also took my Demi Moore/Vanity Fair nudie pic this morning.
No, I will not be posting it on the blog.

Felt a bit weird to be doing my hair and put on earrings when i'll only be going out today to put the rubbish bins out. Was also harder to manage than the first time around when I didn't have any small people laughing at Mummy's Bum, ha ha ha ha.
I was terrified a delivery I was waiting on would come to the door while I was not dressed.

I'm more your local prude than your local nudist.
You'll be happy to know i'm blogging fully clothed now.

The pillowslip looks FANTASTIC. I'm going to have to have a go at that. Little people laughing at your bum is probably only cool if they are your own. Then I find it pretty funny myself.

    Wubbsy! Wubbsy! Wow! Wow!

Isn't that THE most irritating theme song ever?

    Cute pillow slip though.

    Wubbzy lives in a tree.
He likes to play! play! play!
    He's got a bendy tail
And he likes it that way!

I love the song, could sing it all day long :p

Love the pillowslip. Other kids will definitely want to steal that one. How's the nesting going?

Wubbzy looks great, well done! The Wubbzy song drowns us out quite a few times in a day here.

I like the colour of the boy's pillow slip too and you've just reminded me I need to get onto A's bits & bobs for Kindy as well. To think in four week's time I'll be sending her off and you him. Oh dear, at least there will be a whole new subject to write about.

I'm impressed you took those Demi Moore images, no I'm more than impressed, I'm envious. LOL @ "the little somebody" laughing at your bum and the delivery truck arriving :-)

Wow Wow Wubsy is popular in this neck of the woods too! Looks terrific. Well done.

And Phew, for a minute I thought you might have been blogging in the nuddy. PHEW!

Yes I did that Demi Moore thing too for Margot , knowing it was the last time I would be pregnant.

My Lucinda LOVES Wow Wow Wubbsy and tells me he is her favourite computer game to play -I think she would be very impressed with your pillow slip.

I was around the corner this morning - should have popped in!!!

You might have posted fully clothed - doesn't mean I'm reading it clothed though....
Had a similar Mum's Bum experience myself today. Thought I'd take advantage of the sales and buy a new pair of bathers. Note to self - next time don't take two kids into Myer changing rooms.

Oops - forgot to mention. Pillowcase looks fab!

Fabulous job with the freezer paper stencil. Did you use two stencils or paint the outline after?

Love the Demi Moore nudie pics! Were your earings as expensive as hers?

shelley - you saw my pics ? How ?
    eek !!

And no, they were cheapies from Bevilles, c. 2003. No expensive jewellery in this house :p

BMM - I did it the first time around too - so it was interesting to compare pics ( strangely, I look *almost* exactly the same - weird - clothing is deceptive, obviously )

Louise - you would have though I was up to no good, answering the door in earrings and a robe !!

    :)

    Great work on the Pillowslip!!

I am still finding new things to do on the photo front, with the new computer.

oh, and Shelley - I did four 'masks' for the 4 colours, so a little fiddly, but worth the effort.

It only took an afternoon all up.

Meggie - I think there's always something new to learn and discover - always ! :)

When we were expecting our first, I wanted to do that sort of photograph, but my wife thought I looked ridiculous with all that body paint.

P.S. She did laugh when I had to soak in formaldehyde for an hour, though.

OK, I don't know what's more exciting -- that finding out about freezer paper opens up a whole new world for me, or that finding out you took a nude pregnant shot. ;)
