( i'm so excited ! )
Censorship due to some new readers.
Who may recognise their likeness.
.. and i'm a Taurean - I like the same things every year, guaranteed.
Pretty things for the home, and pretty things for the garden ( including plants ). Pretty easy.
Anyway, I kind of deviated then, didn't I ?
It's hot here today - muggy.
We had a sudden deluge of rain yesterday ( spectacular to see your backyard suddenly flooded, then gone again in 30minutes )
So do I venture to the P.O. to post the Christmas Cards I haven't even written in yet ?
Is it too late ?
MC needs a haircut too.
Hmm..

I too like to buy my own gifts, or hand Mr Brown a print out with a picture and all the details, including what shop - otherwise I end up with ... well let's not go there.
I do make Lasagna though, in a pyrex dish (blush). No lid or carrybag though, does that save me?
yeah, but YOU bought the Pyrex, didn't you ? From K-Mart, for *necessity*.
I've got one dish, I admit, but I just find stuff loves to bake on to it and it's hard to get clean. And the see through glass is unapologetic to bad cleaning...
My MIL used to give me the most awful gifts. I always felt it was a monumental waste of money, as I got rid of most of them when I could.
I am lucky, GOM is a great gift giver, & always gets just the right thing!
I hate this steamy weather! How can you stand being pregnant in this sticky heat?
I want some moo cards. I want some!!! How swish are they and what a niffy idea.... Yours look cool. Way cool.
Pyrex.. I have one and I do bake stuff in it. But you're right, it is hard to clean. My dishwasher does a marvellous job of cleaning it though. It really does. But hand washing and soaking it just doesn't cut it.
In regards to Christmas gifts, i buy my own too. That way I get what I want and what I'd like. Lucky for us it is only both sets of parents that 'give us' stuff. And that stuff is $. Which is just as well, because we're planning on putting it towards acc in London...
I asked my hubby for an IKEA voucher and a couple of token surprises. At least then, I can buy what I want. :)
Not to mention, NO clutter!
Moo cards - I love mine and meant to blog them but didn't get round to it. I also got some postcards done - they are fun too.
J's parents very cleverly give us a voucher every year - easy for them and good for us - I usually end up spending it on the kids at some time during the year but that is good too.
"Vouchers" are "not fun", so we can't win with them either...
*sigh*
I just got my moo cards too! Actually they look a little dull and I might send them back. Yours look pretty clear and wonderful - hmmm. I too am a Taurean (have we discussed that already) and completely agree about the gift ideas. My Greek MIL is the champion of crap gifts and even though she gives me money for the children she always gets a little something from the $2 shop for them. Like a parrot that screams 'I love you, I love you'!! That disappeared very quickly!!
You have to tell them WHICH family in India. If you don't, they'll get it all wrong.

Greetings from another maroon hater!
When we bought my car a few years back I had a choice of one colour - maroon. I was promised I'd get over it. Still waiting.
As for family gifts. You can't win. Don't even try.
Re baking with pyrex, oil the dish before you put anything in (that really helps) - and get a boy person to do the post-baking scrub ;)
Your moo cards look fab. What will you do with them, they look too good to give away!
Glad I'm not the only one who hates maroon, who doesn't do lasagne (so much WORK!!!) and who is late with the ole Christmas cards.
i haven't got any moo cards yet, so you ain't the last...waiting for Santa to bring me a nice digi SLR, but have been informed that I haven't been 'nice' enough-boo!
