    The MissMuss Cheep

I hate being made to look like an amateur by a 3yr old.

The first pic is of my 'template' on 'how to make a snowman'.
MB looked at it, dismissed it and said "No snowman. Mummy make snowman. MB make MissMuss Cheep"

And so he did. And it's way more creative than my staid 'formula' creation.
I love the way the bird's ( that's a cheep, for those not in the speak ) legs are streamlined behind him.

    Show Off.

Ditto to the trees we made.

I stole the 'decorating with hole punch dots' from Kid's Craft Weekly. MY 'template' tree was too minimal and reserved in design. I used sparkle and dots frugally. I was so proud of it until I saw how cool excess could be.

I really need to unleash, obviously.

( P.S. - if you think the glue behind the sparkle is a little 'too neat' for a kidlet - you'd be right. He insisted I do this bit. Not sure why )

We also made some stars to hang on the tree ( which I get asked about every day - 'MissMuss Tree toDAY ?! YES ?!, YES ?!' ) But it's still a bit early, and the goddamn thing weighs a tonne, and I want AB to get it out of the garage and check it for spidies before I touch it.

    Brr. Spidies..

I seem to have missed your meme but always love reading them as they give just a little more insight into the one posting.

Christmas - I just love it - Margot and I are doing some wrapping paper today I think.

And I would get the tree out of our garage if the nasty nanny had not thrown it in there and with all the rain and the leaks in the garage I think it could be DESTROYED. which just makes me angry again.

So I wil re read your post and smile over miss muss cheep and calm down!

*LOVE* the missmuss cheep, especially his Picasso face. I'm the over-decorator in our house, Climber's always been a minimalist.

Well, I think they both look rather splendid!

I'm a little unsure of what xmas etiquette is when it comes to trees. I put mine up last weekend. Hopefully that's not too early. But it does add a nice sparkly feel to the living quarters now. Love your decorations. Minimalist design is still fashionable. :)

Christmas used was getting a little boring a few years ago, now I see the magic in it! Kids get soooo excited and Monet has been on her best behaviour of late (because, you know, Santa is watching and all that!) She's wanting the tree up everyday too...I am sure I'll give in next week...

You are so crafty and your MB is so very clever and artistic. He is a credit to you - little show off that he is. You wanna come up and do these activities with Monet?

Kids are so much better at glitter than grown up! The MissMuss Cheep is ace, and I think we will steal the idea of those door hangers.

Look, it's about time that you realised that as an adult you don't know any thing. Your kids know all the stuff that is worth knowing.

While trolling the Christmas deco isle yesterday I began to drool (not literally thankfully) over the shimmery goodness that is available for hanging on one's (hopefully spidieless) Tannenbaum. But seeing this post is whimsically refreshing. There truly is nothing like home made decorations...especially those made with the aid of a child. Mmmm. (I'm truly impressed by the creativity that went into the snowman turned "miss muss cheep".

Miss muss cheep has a jaunty air of Christmas subversion about him!

Snowmen are close to deities in our house. No one messes with the Snowman.

I love to see handcrafted miss muss decorations.

How much fun do you guys have?!!! Can I come and play too?

I'm trying to stretch the tree erecting business to the 1st but the biggest of the littlies has other ideas and as usual, she might just win.

PS: Love MissMuss, it took me a while to work it out :-0

The Miss Muss Cheep looks very aerodynamic in a shot-out-of-a-cannon way.

The missmuss cheep is just adorable and I love the hangers too :)

I'm with you on having the other half check for spidies first too.
