For Spring.
It's not perfect and there's bits that annoy me, and it's probably a wee bit girlier than i'd like, but i'm self-taught-by-tweaking and no web-designer.
Helping Crafty fix her blog made me think 'gee, it's time for a change', and then I stumbled upon a flickr tool that converts your photos into blogheaders ( yes, that's my photo in the header, and i'm mighty pleased with that bit ! ), so I had to go play.
Am loving flickr at the moment.
Discovering so much, and had a photo of mine used ( borrowed with permission and cited ) for a foodie website.
Also found pics of my new nursery on a French blog, and had to translate the page to make sure they liked the images rather than saying "ah, poo, these Australians with their crap baby rooms, pass me my Marlboros and a wheel of Brie"
Anyway, i'd like to simplify the look further, perhaps just a header on a plain coloured backdrop to write upon, but that will have to come with time.
I'm done tonight.

And I had a similar experience. Found a whole lot of my pics in a blog in Hungarian and politely asked them for a translation thank you very much. Turned out it was all good and nice, but gees they should have asked first.
