    Half-Baked

No, it's not the same shirt, it's a bigger one, it just looks the same.

I need new clothes desperately, but i'm such a tightie.
People are paying such stupid prices for even K-Mart maternity 2nd-hand clothes on e-bay, it's ridiculous.
    So i'm not even bidding.

And I hate shopping with that kid in the picture pulling a weird face ( what is that ? - a monster face ? A grimace ? ).

Might leave him with his dad next week and go out on my own.
You just *know* i'll come back empty handed though, as everything will be 'ugh', or out-of-my-rather-cheap-price-bracket.

Still .. shopping on my own .. daydreaming .. browsing ... loitering ... cruising .. sounds nice to me ....

You are looking so well, & healthy. Love the shirt & denim can never be wrong.
Didn't you know, these little darlings go through the face pulling stage, -we have whole patches where there were nothing but funny faces. They get over it...& then they begin making prehistoric 'noises'.
Good luck with the shopping for clothes.

Oh yes, shopping alone has a certain - massive -allure to it. I can't believe the prices for maternity clothes either, and just seem to end up wearing a variation of the same thing every day (your white shirt = my black t-shirt).

    You're looking marvellous! :)

Email me your size and requirements (top, skirts, etc). I'm always cruising the op shops and recently saw some nice maternity stuff. And the price will be sooo right :-)

Sounds darn good to me too!

How come you look so fabulous? There ought to be a law against it.

You look so well! And the little man is a cutie.

I say hit the shops - even if you don't buy anything a few hours to yourself can only be good, right?

You do look lovely. I hated paying money for maternity clothes too, but then again I hated looking frumpy too. Have fun shopping :-)

    You are just glowing -

And there is a lot to be said for that solo shopping trip where even if you come home empty handed you have still had that time of just not thinking ... about anything.... in particular

and staring vacantly at clothes with nothing....particular ...happening in your head.

    Blissful

I have heaps of maternity clothes sitting here doing nothing - they're from 2005 so not outdated. Depending on what size you are - you're welcome to any of them! Email me if you are interested. You are looking very fabulous as is the little man!!

I'm an idiot. I thought the watermark was a design on the fabric.

It does seem a waste of money when you know you'll only wear them for a few months. By the end of my second pregnancy I only had two things that would fit me - wash and wear each day. It wasn't fun. Get yourself some new clothes, you'll be pleased that you did!

You and your white shirts!! *heehee*

It's funny you mentioned the weird/funny face thing. The latest photo I have on my blog about the lounge has Monet sitting on it pulling a face too! How weird is that.

Ahh the guilty pleasures of shopping alone. Even if you don't buy anything it is always nice to wander around browsing on your own.

And you're at 20 weeks? Wow. 20 weeks to go hey? Yippee!!

I didn't buy any maternity clothes 1st time round, but 2nd time round I was desparate for comfortable stuff as I was running after a toddler. Try the cheap chain stores like dotti & supre etc... they have lots of streathy stuff & dresses that you can wear as tops over jeans/skirts etc- just just got bigger sizes. I also got a pair of maternity jeans & a maternity frock on ebay for $20 each.

I think its a bit like weddings - they make everything super expensive because they know us suckers will just spend the money.
I wore lots of stretchy stuff that wasn't maternity, just bigger sizes. Some of it I still wear now and it fits in my non pregnant state. Says something about the success of my post baby diet programme....

I've got a stack of nice gear here too, size 12 & 14 maternity if you're interested...mostly brand names. I would love them to go to a new home (for free of course). Email me if you would like them or at least pics of them.

You could wear a burlap sack and still look beautiful, glowing & happy.

And the little lad is simply adorable.
