    Who Needs Early Kinder ?

    We're quite happy here.

It's bin night tonight, so we were gathering autumn leaves from the Virginia Creeper, and pulling a few weeds etc. This was our reward.

This was the first, and original composition ( no help from mummy ).
The art got progressively rattier and more 'creative/fantastic/lazy/crazy' after this, with much more emphasis on glue, and rather less on sticking.

Needless to say, they're still 'drying'

    :)

Okay. I swear you were a Kindy teacher in a past life!! You are wonderful and full of creative ideas. You are inspirational. Trust me. Wanna come up and visit us sometime?

Bin night here too but I filled it up with loads of household crap, I've had a chance to clean out lots of cupboards this public holiday. Boooooring.

I do love how the "craft" activities always tend to go the way of fiddling with the glue, the water that you wash your brushes in, scissoring one's fingers/hair/nose, glittering one's eyebrows, textering one's hands - occasionally a little gets on the paper :-)

The emphasis-on-glue tendency seems to be common around this magical age, I've found. Beautiful colors and... feeling some serious guilt for not being more creative with my children's kinder crafts. Inspiration!

I agree with Melody. You really are one 'ideas woman'. I need this sort of craft inspiration for when I'm on leave after this week.

Anyway, LOVE this current artwork and it's given me a new eye for looking at the autumn trees around here.

I can't believe that they're leaves! It is beautiful.

Just commenting on the previous post - I saw you on Deal. TV puts weight on you and you were still skinny! The husband story is too horrible to even comprehend.
