    Bye, Baby Bunting

I'm making bunting to say goodbye to my baby.

He's not a baby any more.
I've still 6 weeks to go until I have to say 'bye-bye' .. but he's such the young man about town.

I'm planning to have a few friends over for a fun day.
The 'fun' part is yet to be decided. Lucky 3yr old guests are happy just to run around a lot.
    And eat chocolate crackles.

My boy just wants to blow out candles. *Loves* the candles.
I might have to overload this year.

    I can do that.

I am making bunting too at the moment, but funnily enough, it is to welcome a new baby. I think I may write a book, 1001 uses for bunting!

I love bunting, I've been looking around for some for quite some time now. Finally I think I've found what I want..I have to buy it pre-made as I'm no seamstress.

We can talk parties and stuff closer to the time. I did some boring fruit kebabs but had a chocolate dipping sauce last year. It seemed to be a favourite as well as the usual...fairy bread, choccie crackles.

You're making me feel pre-emptive nostalgia for when JJ turns 3 (still 18 months away...) Watching them grow is so bitter-sweet.

At least when there is 3 year olds around they aren't too fussy on what they eat. A cake, some chocolate crackles, fairy bread, a big bowl of lollies and you should be set! That bunting is going to look terrific once its finished and up. You are very clever.

Aww! The big 3! LOVE bunting, though I've never thought to use it myself. I must do so one of these days.

He's still a baby. My 6-year-old is still a baby. Disguised in a big boy body, that's all.

I love your floor! I bet you dont have any shaggy dogs or shedding cats!
At least if the party guests drop any food, they will be able to just dine off that floor!!haha.

I loved it when my children were three. They were such good company. They were interested in everything and they loved to chat, but were still willing to curl up for a cuddle.

    Definately overload.
It sort of hurts, a bit, doesnt it? The little boys growing up thing.

Suggestion: Get the "trick" candles that do not blow out.

Hours of fun for a pulmonarily gifted lad, I tell you. Hours. Well, maybe minutes. You get the idea.
